The movie industry's Kathy Sully (BFA, 1999) returned to campus last week to give a presentation to the assembled Visual Arts and New Media majors as part of the department's Visiting Artist Program.

She captivated her audience with details about her career, which included working on the special effects shop that won the 2006 Oscar for the film, "Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian."

"She was an inspiration to our students," Bob Booth, sculptor and art professor, said.
