Rockin' The Commons, Fredonia Radio Systems' annual Roswell Park Cancer Institute fundraiser event/ concert, has been moved to the fall semester.

The organization’s e-board came to the decision after weighing many factors as a group, the biggest one being the mass of events that hits the campus every year in April.

The event is now scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27 in Barker Commons. Fredonia Radio Systems has begun looking for donations, and will be doing so throughout the summer. For questions on donations, people are asked to call the station at 716-673-3420 or email card4928@fredonia.edu.

Fredonia Radio Systems will be hosting an alternative spring event, Rockin' The Spot, at the Tim Horton Café and Bake Shop in the Williams Center on Thursday, April 24, from 7 to 10 p.m. It will include a live broadcast with local bands including Yonic and Albert The Fish, and solo performances from Annasun and Kevin McCauley of Desafinado. The event will also feature giveaways from the radio station.
