SUNY Fredonia’s Hillel organization will celebrate its last events of Jewish History Month with a presentation from Holocaust survivor Sol Messinger on Thursday, May 2, at 2:30 p.m., in the Horizon Room in the Williams Center.

Hillel, the Jewish Student Union and part of the Center of Multicultural Affairs office on campus, is celebrating April and part of May as Jewish History Month in order to honor Judaism and its history.

Mr. Messinger is from the Holocaust Resource Center of Buffalo. He will be speaking about his personal experiences during the Holocaust. Messinger was born on June 16, 1932, in Berlin, Germany and was subject to the scrutiny and hardships of Jewish families during the power of German Nazis.

The event is free and open to the campus and community. Refreshments will be provided.
