Lynda Pleszewski, Director of Budget

Lynda Pleszewski succumbed to cancer on Tuesday, March 3, at the age of 56. Employed since 1999 by the Administration Division, she was named budget director in 2007. Lynda's achievements as a campus professional included graduating from the Chautauqua Leadership Network, serving as secretary to the SUNY-wide Accounting/Budget/Bursar Committee, and serving on the board of the SUNY Fredonia Federal Credit Union. Her delightful personality was matched only by her excellent performance, recognized by Vice President for Administration Tracy Bennett, who presented her with an Outstanding Professional Administration Award. Memorials are requested for Hospice of Chautauqua County or the American Cancer Society. The campus flag was lowered Friday, March 6, in her memory.
