Master classes for high school pianists planned Oct. 16

The SUNY Fredonia School of Music welcomes high school pianists to campus for a day of master classes, technique workshops, chamber music and more on Saturday, October 16. 

High school pianists will have the opportunity to meet Fredonia’s outstanding piano faculty, perform in a master class (optional), attend special classes and performances, play in piano ensemble, meet other young pianists, and more. The day begins at 9am in Mason Hall on the SUNY Fredonia campus. The cost for the full day of activities is $30 per student and includes lunch. Teachers and parents are encouraged to attend at no charge. Applications must be postmarked by October 2. School of Music Assistant Professor Don Marrazzo gave a master class at Houghton University and also did a two-day residency at Detroit Opera to work with members of the Resident Artist Program.
