The opening reception for “Outlaw/ed Bodies: Intersecting the Visual, Creative and Critical,” an interdisciplinary student exhibit, will be held on Wednesday, March 26, from 4 to 5 p.m., in the Reed Library exhibit room.

Students from the Women’s and Gender Studies program, Art Forum, Writer’s Ring, Women’s Student Union and other organizations have joined together to tackle various issues related to the perception of the body through integrating creative writing, critical writing and visual art.

Bill Boerner, chief diversity officer, will serve as the special guest of the event. Live music and refreshments will also be offered at the reception, which is free and open to the public.

The exhibit will remain on display through the end of the semester.
