Rockin' the Commons event to raise money for Roswell Park Cancer Institute

SUNY Fredonia Radio systems, WNYF-TV, Teacher’s Education Club, and Sound Services will present the 10th annual Rockin' the Commons event on Saturday, April 13 starting at 11 and ending at 9 p.m. in Steele Hall. The event is free and open to SUNY Fredonia students, faculty/staff members and general public.

All proceeds from the event will go to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

The SUNY Fredonia Teacher’s Education Club will sponsor a Children’s Fair at the event. Other activities include a Chiavetta chicken barbecue, Chinese auction, media drive, and live music performances from Tom Gestwicki, The Odd Times, Heart of the Sun, Midnight Sons, Chelsea O’ Donnell, and John Higgins.

The event will broadcast on Fredonia Radio Systems' two stations, WCVF 88.9 FM and WDVL 89.5, along with the campus television station, WNYF.
