San Francisco 49ers Public Address Announcer to talk about sports business industry April 24

SUNY Fredonia’s Sport Management and Exercise Science Club will welcome Voice of the Box president and founder Matt Crevin on Tuesday, April 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. in McEwen 202. Mr. Crevin will address four specific areas of the sports business industry.

Crevin has nearly 20 years of experience in the sports industry. His career began in 1991 as a public relations intern for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League, eventually transitioning into broadcasting. In that time he worked side by side with such renowned sports broadcasters as Al Michaels, John Madden, Dick Enberg, Marv Albert and the late Harry Kalas. Today, Crevin serves as a press box public address announcer for the 49ers.

Voice of the Box is a website that supplies individuals interested in the field of sport management and related industries with information provided by professionals. Some of the topics featured are professional and collegiate sport management, social media within the sports world, marketing, public relations, sponsorships, endorsements, and venues and facilities operations management.
