SEFA campaign surpasses goal on campus
SUNY Fredonia employees have surpassed the campus goal for the 12th year in a row for the State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA). The appeal, which began in September, brought in $51,117 in cash and pledges as of Dec. 2, surpassing its goal of $45,000.
SEFA is the single combined campaign for employees of New York State, providing funds year-round to support health and human service agencies and other organizations who aid people of all ages and backgrounds in the Chautauqua County region and statewide.
Kathy Dyckes of the Department of Athletics and Martha Smith, director of Revenue Accounting, co-chaired this fall’s campus appeal. Ms. Smith noted, “The SEFA Committee would like to thank all those who donated to the SEFA campaign this year. We continue to surpass our goal each year due to the generosity of the campus community. The committee would also like to thank all those who contributed gifts for our “Thank You” drawing.” Winners of the campus drawing are as follows:
