Sustainable Potluck held by campus group Wednesday

Christine Davis Mantai

The SUNY Fredonia Campus Climate Challenge welcomes the campus and community to a Sustainable Potluck this Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Fredonia First Presbyterian Church, located on 219 Central Ave. from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Campus Climate Challenge’s goal is to raise support and awareness of the "Real Food" movement and to highlight local farmer's and producer's goods. In addition, they strive to create closer ties between members of the campus and community.

The Campus Climate Challenge group leverages the power of young people to organize on college campuses and high schools across Canada and the U.S. to win 100% Clean Energy policies at their schools. The Challenge is growing a generation-wide movement to stop global warming, by reducing the pollution from our high schools and colleges down to zero, and leading our society to a clean energy future.
