The SUNY Fredonia Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Paula Holcomb, presents an evening of three distinctively notable works on Saturday, Feb. 26, at 8 p.m. in King Concert Hall.

Audiences will enjoy a performance of Stravinsky’s epic Piano Concerto featuring piano faculty member Sean Duggan, and Rochester (N.Y.) native composer Dan Welcher’s exciting work, "Zion," for which Welcher will be present in the audience.

In addition, the ensemble will perform the world premiere of "Mo'Ments," a new work by Jim Self, a piece composed specifically for the Fredonia Wind Ensemble.

Guest conductor and SUNY Fredonia alumnus U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. Benjamin Albright, a member of the President’s Own Marine Band Conductor Apprentice Program, will take the podium for Welcher’s piece.
