Fredonia is proud to partner with the American Red Cross to offer CPR, AED, and First Aid training programs. See the class schedule below.

Classes will be held at 140 Hendrix Hall. View a campus map if you aren't familiar with the location of Hendrix Hall.

The fully in-person CPR/AED course is three hours while the blended course contains an online component followed by a two hour in-person session. Adding First Aid to the blended course requires an additional half hour of in-person instruction. BLS level courses are four and a half hours.

After the successful completion of online and in-person instruction, you are completely certified in American Red Cross techniques. No other courses are required.  Please dress comfortably as you will spend the majority of the class on the floor practicing techniques.

 

The cost for a CPR/AED class whether fully in-person or blended learning is $30.00. The BLS level courses are $35.00 and courses that include First Aid are $40.00 The class fee covers the cost of student materials and certification cards. The class is free to Building Safety Coordinators, Residence Directors and Assistants, and University Police. 

No. All payments must be made through TouchNet at the registration link above.

Two years. The expiration date will be printed on your card. Students are required to maintain their own certification and will not receive reminders when their certification is about to expire.

ARC is a nationally recognized program, but you need to check with your employer to ensure that the course you've selected is sufficient.

Sorry, but we cannot offer refunds. If you contact our office prior to missing the course, we can reschedule you at no additional cost. There will be no refunds or rescheduling for no-shows.

Yes. This course is now open to all campus and community members.
