Marc De La Concha is an alumni of SUNY Fredonia who graduated in 2005 with his BFA in Musical Theatre. He was recently seen in the National Tour of "The Drowsy Chaperone." He will be holding a series of master classes and workshops this weekend in audition prep, movement/dance, and a Q and A. Along with the classes, Marc will be performing his one man show on Saturday evening!

All classes and workshops will take place in Mason 1001 or the Dods Dance Studio. Everything is open to everyone, but you must sign up for a slot to participate in the audition book discussion and the mock audition, but everyone is encouraged to come and watch. The sign up sheets are located on the call board in the RAC Commons.

Marc's Schedule:


Saturday, November 7th:
12 to 1pm: Introduction to Marc De La Concha
15 minute break
1:15 to 4 pm: Marc will discuss Audition books: what is the right song, monologue, etc. And assignments for mock audition are given.
4 to 5 pm: Dinner Break
5 pm: Marc's one man show with accompaniment by Paul Marsz

Sunday, November 8th:
2:30 to 4 pm: Mock auditions- participants will be given a specific audition scenario the day before and must prepare the proper materials for that audition.
4 to 5 pm: Dinner Break
5 to 7 pm: Mock movement/dance call with a combination from "Drowsy Chaperone."
7 to 7:30 pm : Wrap Up with Marc
