The SUNY Fredonia College Symphony Orchestra will join forces April 25 with the Masterworks Chorus and the Chautauqua Children’s Chorale to perform Carmina Burana by German composer Carl Orff, under the direction of Dr. David Rudge.
The Musical Journeys Program of the Fredonia School of Music concludes its third season of free concerts designed to appeal to very young children on Saturday, April 25 at 10:30 a.m. in the Dunkirk Free Library. The Fredonia Guitar Quartet will introduce their music and instruments to children.

Marcus Goldhaber, ’00, a Buffalo native whose vocal tone and style are reminiscent of a young Frank Sinatra, returns to Western New York for a concert at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House on Friday, April 17, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $13 for Opera House members.
On April 6, guest artist, concert violinist Livia Sohn and faculty at Stanford University, will join Janet Sung in a unique collaboration, performing an entire program of music for two violins, including works by Leclair, Prokofiev and the popular Navarra by Sarasate.The concert will also feature eight world premieres of violin duos written expressly for them by student composers from both Stanford University and SUNY Fredonia
