Radio stations interview Igoe about coronavirus
Department of Communication Assistant Professor Mike Igoe was interviewed by area radio stations WBEN 930 AM, Buffalo, and WDOE 1410 AM, Dunkirk, about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Department of Communication Assistant Professor Mike Igoe will give the President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning lecture, "The Consolidation of Communication Conglomerates and What it Means to You” on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Igoe recognized for videos
Department of Communication Assistant Professor Michael Igoe’s video, “Interviewing: Getting the Facts the Feelings, and the Focus” has won another award. The Broadcast Education Association (BEA) is honoring it at its On Location Conference this fall in the Instructional Category of the Video Competition. The award will be given in October during the BEA regional conference in Denver, Colo.
Fredonia films to be shown at Niagara Falls International Film Festival
Films produced by faculty and students at Fredonia, including the documentary “Among the Hemlocks: Fantastic Stories from Fredonia, NY,” will be screened at the Niagara Falls International Film Festival.
Alumna to offer insight into leader, leadership development
Students, faculty and staff, as well as area residents who are interested in learning how to strengthen their capacity to be effective in leadership roles and processes, are invited to attend a lecture by alumna Lorie Latour, vice president of Hematology Patient Services at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited, on Monday, May 6, at 1 p.m., at Williams Center Room S204.
