Italian artists Donzelli and Marziali return to Rosch Oct. 13

Rosch Recital Hall will see the return of Italian soprano Stefania Donzelli and Italian violinist Luca Marziali in recital on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.   

Joining them on stage for the evening will be pianist Paolo Zannini. The recital program will be selected from representative works by Kreisler, Franck, Rota, Pergolesi, Mozart, Rossini and Gounod. The concert is free and all are welcome.

The three artists, who bring world class credentials and artistry to campus, will be in residence that week to coach and give master classes.

Lyric Arts International at SUNY Fredonia, a program directed by Julie L. Newell of the Fredonia School of Music and Paul W. Mockovak of the theatre and dance department, a hosting the trio with support from the Carnahan-Jackson Humanities Fund of the Fredonia College Foundation.

Their residency will also include performances in Buffalo and in Washington, DC.

This is the fourth time Luca Marziali will be visiting and performing at Fredonia, and the second time for Stefania Donzelli.
