Marion Art Gallery to host SUNY Fredonia student exhibition

Students pose for the poster advertising their Senior Show I at SUNY Fredonia, running April 13 through 19.

The works of 10 students from the Department of Visual Arts and New Media at SUNY Fredonia will be displayed in the Cathy and Jesse Marion Art Gallery at Rockefeller Arts Center beginning Friday, April 13.

The Senior Show I exhibition will open with a reception in the art gallery from 7 to 9 p.m. on April 13. The show will run through Thursday, April 19. Both the reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.

The exhibition will highlight the best works from graduating graphic design students. Artists taking part in the exhibition are Kanacia James, Amanda Widzinski, Ashlee Bueg, Kurt McGhee, Katie Sollenberger, Brittany Theophilus, Nadiua Romanuuk, Emily Coryea, Kara Myers and James McDonough.

Gallery hours are 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
