Student organizations in communication department host internship information panel

The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and the Applied Communication Association (ACA) are co-sponsoring an Internship Informational on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in McEwen Hall Room 209.

The event will feature Dr. Linda Brigance, associate professor of Communication and the department's internship coordinator, and Jennifer Cinque, internship coordinator and career counselor in the Career Development Office. They will both be discussing the process different ways to obtain a communication related internship.

There will also be six guest students that will be presenting on their own personal summer internship experiences. Some of the different locations where students have had internships include Rochester Red Wings, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Salvation Army and the office of U.S. Congressman Brian Higgins.

All students are welcome and are encouraged to network and ask questions to find out more information about internships. For more information about this event, please contact PRSSA President Carly Perreaud at perr1531@fredonia.edu.
