Conceptual artist Nina Katchadourian opens Visiting Artist series
American multi-media artist Nina Katchadourian of Brooklyn, N.Y., is the first speaker of the 2011-12 Visiting Artist Program at SUNY Fredonia. Her presentation will take place Thursday, Sept. 15 at 8:30 p.m. in McEwen 209. The event is free and open to the public.

Gizmo Guys bring comedy juggling act to Marvel Theatre on Friday, Sept. 16
The 2011-12 season at SUNY Fredonia’s Rockefeller Arts Center will open with a return performance by the world’s foremost comedy jugglers, the Gizmo Guys, on Friday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. in Marvel Theatre.
Popular American conductor giving Master Class
Andrew Bisantz, a 1995 SUNY Fredonia alumnus and exciting young American conductor, will work with voice students on artistry, interpretation and musicality Saturday, Sept. 10. His master class begins at noon in Rosch Recital Hall in Mason Hall, and is open to students, faculty, staff, and the public.
Pathways to Music to be held in Campus & Community Children's Center
The Musical Journeys Program of the Fredonia School of Music continues its exciting new program for children and parents to discover the joys of experiencing music while singing, moving, listening, dancing, and playing. Pathways to Music, which runs from Sept. 14 through Nov. 19 for the Fall 2011 session, is designed for children ages 6 months through 5 years old.
