$3.3 million set aside for better athletic fields
A $3.3 million project to start next spring will mean SUNY Fredonia gets a new natural grass playing field for the men’s and women’s soccer teams, an artificial turf field, improved bleacher seating for 1,500 spectators, lights for night games and good field drainage despite any weather.
New major in Sport & Exercise Science
The first crop of freshmen in the new Interdisciplinary Studies major in Sport Management and Exercise Science entered classes in the Fall 2005 semester, marking an important step in the development of a program that has captured the attention of a growing segment of students in recent years.
