Fredonia women's lacrosse will play in the NCAA Division III Tournament again this year. Runners-up in the SUNYAC, the Blue Devils (15-3) will be making their third appearance in four years, and once again will receive a home game. They will play Sunday, May 10, at University Stadium against the Denison Big Red (11-6), champs of the North Coast Athletic Conference. Game time is 11 a.m.
The women's 4x400-meter relay team won Fredonia's first SUNYAC title in a women's relay event in school history on Saturday, May 2. The team of Anna Dambacher, Kim Foltz, Laura Morrison and Brittany Feldman finished almost four seconds ahead of the second-place finisher with a time of 3:56.16. Nicole Desens claimed another SUNYAC title of her own in the discus.

For only the third time in program history, the women's lacrosse team has reached the 14-win mark.The Blue Devils' 9-6 win against Potsdam on Saturday stretched their unbeaten steak to eight games. The team is seeded No. 2 in the SUNYAC playoff bracket, with its first game in the semi-finals scheduled for May 1 in Cortland.
