Marvel Theatre

Featuring a play-within-a-play, Noises Off follows a director and group of actors as they stumble through three performances of a farce called “Nothing On.” Stuffed with slapstick comedy, silly props, offstage antics and missed cues, Noises Off provides a humorous look at theatre hijinks. A 2016 Broadway revival earned several Tony Award nominations.

James and Marcia Merrins Dance Theatre

The Fredonia Dance Ensemble presents this brand new series set in the intimate space of the James and Marcia Merrins Dance Theatre. Works by faculty members Sam Kenney, Paul Mockovak and Paula Peters and guest artist Bliss Kohlmyer will feature performances by Fredonia’s talented Dance majors and minors.

Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson

Featuring a rock score, the musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson follows the title character from his wild days on the frontier all the way to the White House. The twist is Jackson is depicted as a full-fledged, modern rock star personality. It made its Broadway debut in 2010.

Feb. 22, 23, 28 and March 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 24 at 2 p.m.
Bartlett Theatre

A classic Greek tragedy, Antigone tells of the title heroine and her actions within her family in a time when women were considered significantly inferior to men. Dealing with power struggles, pride and grief, this play depicts a brave woman’s choices as
she faces adversity and familial roadblocks. The Mainstage production will be based Jean Anouilh’s version.

Featuring an infectious score by none other than Cole Porter, Anything Goes is a comedic story featuring love, hijinks, stowaways and public enemies. Hop on board the S.S. American, where singer and former evangelist Reno Sweeney, along with a collection of gangsters, bankers, sailors, and debutantes, navigate the high seas through song and dance.
