Term Break Shuttle Bus to Airport & Depew Amtrak

New Inbound shuttle service offered before the start of classes in August 2025
 

For students who are traveling to the Buffalo Airport, Depew Amtrak Station, or the NFTA Metro Transportation Center in downtown Buffalo, and are in need of transportation to campus from any of these locations, we are offering limited shuttle service to campus.  
The service will pick up at the Buffalo Airport, Depew Amtrak Station, and the NFTA Metro Transportation Center in downtown Buffalo (the downtown bus station) and bring passengers to campus on:  

• Thursday, August 21 at 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm
• Friday, August 22 at 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm
• Saturday, August 23 at 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm 

The cost to use the shuttle one way is: 

• Fredonia Student Ticket = $25 plus the $6 ticket processing fee (per order), for a total of $31
• Family Passenger Ticket = $35. The normal $6 fee is waived if ordered at the same time as a student ticket.  

Please note: We will offer only one return shuttle from Fredonia to Buffalo on Friday, August 22 at 8:00 a.m.  Any family passenger wanting to return to Buffalo at another time will need to secure alternative means of transportation. 
 
ll passengers will have to secure their ticket by calling the Campus Ticket Office at 716-673-3501 using a credit or debit card before 5 pm on Tuesday, August 19.   The Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

When calling, please have the following information available for each individual passenger: 

• First and Last name  
• Home address with street, city, state and zip code
• Cell phone number
• Billing Zip Code for the credit or debit card used
• Email address (for students, please provide their official fredonia.edu email address)
• Mode of transportation (plane, train, or bus)
• If traveling by air: Airline name, flight number, and scheduled arrival time )
• If traveling by bus, carrier name and destination in Buffalo (we recommend the Buffalo Airport (if your bus company goes there; otherwise, it will be the NFTA MTC)
• If traveling by train, the train number and scheduled arrival time. 

Other important information: 

• This service is provided by Giorgios Limousine/Executive Transportation Serice of Western New York.  
• Passengers are limited to one suitcase and one carry-on bag.
• Students will be provided with a confirmation email sent to their Fredonia email address and parents will be sent a confirmation to their email address.
• The phone number of the dispatch office of the transportation provider (it is 716-683-7455) will also be provided. This is the number to call on the day of the trip if there is any change of plans, delays, etc.
• Tickets are for the named passenger only and are non-refundable.
• Passengers will not be issued a hard ticket per se. Instead, the confirmation email will serve as the ticket, and the shuttle driver will be provided with a passenger manifest with the names and arrival information (flight number and arrival time, for instance)
• At the Buffalo airport, the pick-up location is at the limousine pick-up area outside and just beyond baggage claim number 4. (See illustration below.) All train station pick-ups are at the Depew Amtrak Station.

The information below is from the 2025-26 school year.  

Students purchasing tickets for the RETURN shuttles should provide the ticket office with their airline name, flight number and scheduled arrival time (if arriving at the airport) or their train number and arrival time (if arriving at the Amtrak station.)  This way, the shuttle driver can monitor arrival information, and if your plane or train is delayed, the shuttle will wait for you.

SUNY Fredonia 2025-26 Shuttle Schedule, Serving the Buffalo Airport & Depew Amtrak Station

The Airport/Amtrak shuttle is operated by Executive Transportation Services of WNY/Giorgio's Limousine (a regional transportation company), which is contracted by the Fredonia Campus to shuttle students to and from the Buffalo Airport and the Depew Amtrak Station.* This shuttle operates around all class breaks including Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break and Spring Break. Students should look for a small black bus, multi-passenger van or large SUV (size of vehicle depends on how many students are riding at the same time). The driver has a list of all scheduled passengers and their cell phone numbers.

To order shuttle tickets, please call (716-673-3501) or stop by the Fredonia Campus Ticket Office during our open hours. We are open M-W-F from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The shuttle price for the 2025-26 academic year is $25 for the one-way fare to/from Buffalo Airport or Depew Amtrak station. There are no round-trip tickets; each direction must be purchased separately. Reservations and payment must be received at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance of departure time. All tickets have the Giorgio's Limousine dispatch number (716-683-7455) printed on them. If a given shuttle does not show up when it should, call this number. 

At the time of purchase, ticket buyers should provide the Fredonia Campus Ticket Office with each passenger’s official Fredonia email address and cell phone number.  This is we can contact passengers should the need arise. All sales are final. NO REFUNDS.

Reservations are required; if there are no advanced reservations placed for a particular run, the Shuttle will not operate. Passengers are limited to one piece of luggage plus one personal item such as a purse or backpack. (One musical instrument case can be extra.)

All airport pick-ups are at the limousine pick-up area outside and just beyond baggage claim number 4. (See illustration below.) All train station pick-ups are at the Depew Amtrak Station. # 

Shuttle OUT times are from the Williams Center bus shelter on the Fredonia Campus. Please allow approximately one hour to reach the Depew Amtrak station and 15 additional minutes to reach the Buffalo airport. Shuttle return times are from the Buffalo Airport, with the shuttle then going to the Depew Amtrak station and departing from there about 15 minutes later.

*If there is sufficient demand, a stop may be added for the Metropolitan Transportation Center (the central bus station) in Downtown Buffalo.

#There are two Amtrak stations in Buffalo. The shuttle travels to the suburban Depew station ---- NOT the Exchange Street station which is downtown Buffalo.
