Dani McKinney to speak at third Social Science Colloquium

The SUNY Fredonia College of Natural and Social Sciences will hold its third Social Science Colloquium of the 2009-2010 academic year on Monday, Dec. 7, with Dr. Dani McKinney, assistant professor of Psychology, as the featured presenter. Dr. McKinney’s presentation is titled, “iTunes in the Classroom: Can Podcasts Replace Professors?” The event will be held at noon in W380 Thompson Hall.

Cole and Douglass presenters at next A&H Brown Bag lecture

The third Brown Bag Lecture in the College of Arts & Humanities, a theoretical dialogue entitled “Contexts Matter: Preparing Learners for Language Use In and Out of Classrooms,” will discuss the importance and relevance of different contexts for the acquisition of English, French and science content in high school and college settings. The talk will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 2, noon, in Williams Center, S-121.
