Conference organizers will accept papers that demonstrate a critical analysis of primary and secondary sources and/or the presentation of an empirical research project.
The Campus Print Shop will be closed Monday, March 17 through Monday, March 31, to print the SUNY Fredonia Fall 2008 Course Offerings Bulletin, Production Manager Paula Warren announced. The shop re-open sfor regularly scheduled printing on Tuesday, April 1.

Dr. Jack Croxton is inviting students to submit individual or group proposals for inclusion in the 2008 Student Research and Creativity Exposition taking place April 24. “Last year’s Expo was a great success and we would like to see it continue to grow,” he said. Dr. Croxton directs the Office of Student Creative Activity and Research (OSCAR), is asking faculty mentors to identify ideal student candidates and encourage their participation. The Exposition is an annual event each spring that features student research and creative activities.
Three students will win individual awards of $350 and the opportunity to perform or present their work.
A portion of the parking area and sidewalk adjacent to the south end of Dods Hall will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 5 to accommodate a construction delivery. Parking will be available in all other areas of the Dods Hall parking lot. In addition, the lower level Dods Hall corridor between the Fitness Center entrance and north interior stairwell will be closed between 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Access will be provided for maintenance staff and wheel chair accessibility only. The interruption of services and access will be caused by the delivery of a large load of mechanical piping for the satellite boiler project.
The Youngerman Center for Communication Disorders will resume offering support group meetings for stroke and head injury survivors and family members. The group will meet the first and third Tuesday of the month at 3 p.m. in room W127 Thompson Hall. The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
