The Musical Journeys Program of The State University of New York at Fredonia School of Music concludes its ninth season of free concerts designed for young children on Saturday, April 25 at Darwin R. Barker Library in Fredonia. Students from the Fredonia Guitar Quartet will perform two half-hour Children's Concerts at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
The New Horizons Band of Western New York will present a spring concert at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28 in King Concert Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Fredonia Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Paula Holcomb, will present the final concert of the 2014-2015 season on Saturday, April 25, at 8 p.m. at King Concert Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
On Monday, May 4, the Ethos New Music Society is presenting a concert featuring Tony-award winning composer Jason Robert Brown as part of a two-day residency. The concert is at Rosch Recital Hall located in Mason Hall at 8 p.m.
Seven new works choreographed by faculty members and guest artists will be featured when the Fredonia Dance Ensemble presents its annual concert from May 1 to 3 in Marvel Theatre. Performances are slated for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 3.

"Balm in Gilead," A gritty urban drama by Lanford Wilson, a Pulitzer Prize-winning American writer, will be the next offering in the Walter Gloor Mainstage Series at Fredonia from Feb. 27 through March 7 in Bartlett Theatre at Rockefeller Arts Center.
“Some Like It Hot,” Fredonia’s premiere all-female a cappella group, will be hosting its eighth annual invitational, “ACAFEST,” on Saturday, March 28 at 7 p.m. in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room. The public is invited to enjoy a night full of music, old and new, from both on and off-campus a cappella groups.
The Fredonia Wind Ensemble’s seventh and final performance on its spring regional tour will held be at King Concert Hall on March 28 at 8 p.m. After four days of touring and performing at schools in Long Island, the musicians will return home to conclude the tour.
