Campus begins testing students for COVID-19

Surveillance testing for COVID-19 was launched during the first week of classes at Fredonia, with about 100 students participating in the innovative pooled surveillance approach that uses saliva samples, collected in small batches to be run as one test, so results can be delivered back to campus within just a few days.

NY-Alert test slated for Wednesday

As part of Fredonia's commitment to ensuring a safe and secure campus, it conducts a test of the NY-Alert mass notification system at the start of each semester. This email is to inform members of the campus community that a test message will be sent from the NY-Alert system this Wednesday, Aug. 26, at approximately 1:45 p.m.
