Christina Colose named October ‘Student of the Month’
Christina Colose, a senior from Buffalo with a major in Business Administration: Marketing and a minor in Communication, has been chosen as the October 2018 Student of the Month by the Office of Residence Life.
HIV testing offered at Student Health Center
Confidential HIV testing for students is currently being offered at the Student Health Center in LoGrasso Hall to lead up to World AIDS Day, which will be observed on Saturday, Dec. 1. Results of the simple finger stick blood test for HIV are known within 10 minutes.
Hanging of the Greens slated for Dec. 6
Spectrum Entertainment is hosting its annual holiday celebration, Hanging of the Greens, on Thursday, Dec. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.
Veterans Remembrance Ceremony slated for Nov. 9
Fredonia is celebrating its 11th Veterans Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 9, in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room. The university and Faculty Student Association employs 41 veterans, and there are a total of 27 students who are veterans.
Fredonia to induct students into new honor society chapter
Members of the inaugural class of Omicron Delta Kappa at Fredonia will be inducted into the national leadership honor society Sunday, Nov. 4. Darwin Jones, OΔK national treasurer, will serve as the installing officer for the chartering ceremony.
