Within Fredonia's welcoming environment, you'll be part of a close-knit community in our woodwind studios. The atmosphere is vibrant, supportive, and conducive to continuous growth. Our faculty are committed to fostering excellence through an enthusiastic and experienced approach to learning.
Each woodwind student at Fredonia receives personalized instrumental instruction, typically consisting of 30 minutes on their primary instrument and 30 minutes on a secondary woodwind, which rotates by semester. This culminates in a Senior Recital featuring multiple woodwinds, including the student's primary instrument and two to four others from the flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, and bassoon family. Under the guidance of our esteemed faculty, students develop their instrumental, musical, creative, and leadership skills.
