A number of sprinters from the Fredonia State's men's team have been having a great deal of success this season.
Sophomore Jacob Futch continued a tradition of pole-vault success at Fredonia, winning the event at the SUNYAC Championships.
Senior Cara Pellechia took the top spot in the women's pole vault at the SUNYAC Indoor Track and Field meet.
Freshman Emma Gassman earned the team points in three different events as Fredonia State placed fifth overall.
Claiming the SUNYAC title in the long jump during last year's outdoor season, Cam Sample repeated the feat.
Freshman Emma Gassman turned in a time of 26.54 seconds in the indoor 200m giving her a third-place finish.
Pole vaulter Jacob Futch achieved a SUNYAC-leading height, and Cam Sample now ranks No. 12 in all of Division III in the long jump.
