Arnavut co-chairs international clean energy conference
Ziya Arnavut, professor and chair of the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, served as the co-general chair of the 16th International Conference on Clean Energy, held May 9 to 11, at Famagusta, Cyprus.
Zubairi outlines Flight Data Tracker benefits at IEEE Buffalo Section seminar
Junaid Zubairi, professor of Computer and Information Sciences, gave a presentation, "Flight Data to Earth,” at a seminar hosted by the IEEE Buffalo Section. Dr. Zubairi explained salient features of this patented Flight Data Tracker technology that could potentially save lives, and also reported that the Fredonia Technology Incubator has established an ADRL (Advanced Data Research Lab) to implement a prototype FDT system.
Zubairi to present to electrical engineers
Dr. Junaid Zubairi of the Department of Computer Information Sciences will give the presentation, "Flight Data to Earth” to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Buffalo Section joint meeting with related societies.
Arnavut guest contributor to journal
Dr. Ziya Arnavut from the Department of Computer and Information Sciences was a guest contributor with Dr. Ahmed Kamal from Iowa State University for a special section in Volume 66 of the Computers and Electrical Engineering journal.
