RULES: Entries will be judged anonymously. Please do not put your name or any other identifying information on your work—otherwise, you will be removed from the contest. Instead, please attach a cover sheet indicating your name, address, phone number, the title(s) of your work, and which award(s) you are entering on a separate sheet for each entry. For fiction, please number your pages. No poem or short story may be used for more than one award. Please type all submissions. Keep copies of your work; entries will not be returned.
Entries should be given to Ms. Kimberly Hollman in the English Department in Fenton 277. These contests are open only to Fredonia undergraduate students who have taken or are taking a creative writing course in the 2018-2019 academic year. Students will be notified by April 26th or earlier, and the prizes will be awarded at the English Department Awards Ceremony.
ONLY ONE SUBMISSION PER AWARD IS PERMITTED. THE SAME STORY MAY NOT BE ENTERED IN MORE THAN ONE AWARD. ENTRANTS MUST SPECIFY THE AWARD FOR WHICH THEY WISH THEIR WORK TO BE CONSIDERED.
