The Interfaith Holocaust Commemoration Committee of Chautauqua County is sponsoring the free showing of the film, "Genocide," at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. The event commemorates the 70th anniversary of Kristallnacht - "The Night of the Broken Glass," in which thousands of Jewish synagogues and businesses were destroyed in a matter of a few hours.

"Terror in the Trees," presented by the SUNY Fredonia Interactive Theater Society, is being staged in the woodlot as a Halloween event this weekend, Oct. 23, 24, 25, and 26, from 8 p.m to midnight. The Campus Woodlot is located inside Ring Road, next to the Clocktower. All members of the public are invited. Tickets can be purchased at the SUNY Fredonia Ticket Office for $3, or at the "Terror in the Trees" entrance for $4.
Critically acclaimed for its unique style and structure, "Marat/Sade," a “play within a play,” will feature a cast of 27, as well as seven musicians from the SUNY Fredonia School of Music. It opens in Bartlett Theatre on Friday, Oct. 24.
