Two alumni in spotlight for their career achievements

A sound recording entrepreneur and the partner of an investment bank are being honored this weekend by SUNY Fredonia for outstanding achievement. Alumni John Poppo, '84, and Michael Petsky, '85, will be celebrated in separate events in Rosch Recital Hall and Cranston Marche.

President issues SEFA statement

An acknowledged leader in the field of new music, the Verdehr Trio for over thirty years has concentrated on molding and defining the personality of the violin-clarinet-piano trio. The trio will perform at 4 p.m. in Rosch Recital Hall as part of the Rosch Musical Arts Series of the Fredonia School of Music.

Lundquist Fellow fulfills dream of experiencing Africa

For as long as she can remember, music major Katherine Petersen has been intrigued by Africa. “The pictures that we see in the States are always beautiful and the music is captivating and always makes me want to dance.” It was a Lundquist International Fellowship that created the pathway for the adventure-seeking senior from Gowanda to have an extended stay in that faraway place.
