“Sustaining Home: The Art of Alberto Rey,” a collaborative exhibition of artwork by the SUNY Distinguished Professor at Fredonia accompanied by essays about his life and work written by SUNY students, is being hosted by The Art Museum of the Americas (AMA), of the Organization of American States, of Washington, D.C.
Four Fredonia faculty and staff members gave a panel presentation, “Facilitating Peer and Instructor Interaction While Promoting Student Engagement,” at the virtual Conference on Instruction & Technology hosted by the SUNY Center for Professional Development and held on May 25-27.
Emilee Stenson, a senior Molecular Genetics major and Chemistry and English double minor, from Attica, has been named the Honors Student of the Month for April.
Jessica Schimek, a senior receiving concurrent degrees in Visual Arts and New Media (B.A.) and Chemistry (B.S.), from Smithtown, has been named the Honors Student of the Month for May.

Department of Psychology Distinguished Teaching Professor Andrea Zevenbergen and Nicole Battaglia, a 2019 Fredonia graduate, are co-authors on a peer-reviewed manuscript to be published in a forthcoming issue of Children and Libraries, a journal of the American Library Association.
Department of Sociocultural and Justice Sciences Assistant Professor Jessica Finkeldey co-authored, "Self-Reported Experiences and Consequences of Unfair Treatment by Police," an article forthcoming in the journal Criminology.
