Klonsky pens short story about growing up in the Bronx for magazine

Childhood memories of growing up in the Bronx are revisited by Department of Psychology Professor Bruce Klonsky in a short story he wrote for the Winter 2021 edition of “Back in the Bronx: Celebrating the Experience of Growing Up in the Bronx” magazine.

Life Club offers students new ways to get together

The Life Club welcome mat has been rolled out, ready to greet students. The Department of Psychology launched the informal social club last fall to give students a place to get to know one another, to talk about and get support in everyday life and to do random acts of kindness to make the campus and the world a better place.

Department of Psychology Distinguished Teaching Professor Andrea Zevenbergen and Nicole Battaglia, a 2019 Fredonia graduate, are co-authors on a peer-reviewed manuscript to be published in a forthcoming issue of Children and Libraries, a journal of the American Library Association.

SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor Andrea Zevenbergen was a guest on a Reach Out and Read podcast, “The Secret to Reading with Young Children.” During the March 4 episode, Dr. Zevenbergen, of the Department of Psychology, discussed dialogic reading, an empirically-supported shared reading intervention.
