The SUNY Fredonia Italian club will be hosting a St. Joseph’s Day dinner on March 30 at 7 p.m. in the Williams Center Horizon Room. The celebration, which is open to students, faculty, and staff, costs $16.88 per person, and all reservations must be made by March 14.

Students can test their knowledge and raise money for the Ultra Violet Campaign at the same time at Trivia Night, sponsored by Sigma Kappa Sorority, on Thursday, March 13, at 7:30 p.m., in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room. Tickets can be purchased for $5 in the ticket office in the Williams Center and all proceeds will go to the Ultra Violet Campaign.
SUNY Fredonia’s Department of Mathematical Sciences is celebrating its 14th annual Pi Day on Thursday, March 13, at 5:30 p.m. in McEwen Hall Room 209. All are welcome to attend. The year’s theme is ‘Pi’ Perfect. Team signups are available outside of Fenton Hall Room 222, also known as the “fishbowl,” and is open to students, faculty, and staff. Signups will end March 11.
The next event in Liberal Arts and Sciences Brown Bag Lecture Series, "Technology in the Arts," will be held on Wednesday, March 5, at noon in McEwen Hall Room 202. The event is free and all are welcome. Speakers will include Jill Johnston, Todd Proffitt and Jason Dillworth.
“The Orchestra of Piazza Vittorio” will be shown as part of SUNY Fredonia’s Convocation Series on Tuesday, March 11, at 7 p.m. in McEwen Hall Room 202. The theme of the film series is, "Through Your Eyes: International Perspectives on Film.” The Convocation Series’ goal is about raising cultural awareness and building global relations.

The Sixth 5K Slush Rush is slated for Sunday, March 2, beginning at Dods Hall. Race Day Registration and Race Day Check-in is from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Dods Hall gymnasium. Local audiences will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of dance styles in an evening of grace and beauty when the Fredonia Dance Ensemble presents its annual concert from Feb. 21 to 23 in Marvel Theatre. Performances are planned for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21 and Saturday, Feb. 22 with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Feb. 23.
