VP Horvath hosts "Can We Talk?" for academic division

Red Balloon dialogues, students in the 21st century, general education, and blended courses are some of the topics Vice President for Academic Affairs Ginnie Horvath is seeking to discuss at the end of year "Can We Talk?" All-Academic Affairs Meeting on Thursday, May 19 from 10 a.m to 2:30 in Fenton Hall Room 105. Lunch registration is requested.

Senior Class chicken barbecue canceled

The Senior Class Chiavetta’s chicken barbecue on Friday, May 6 has been canceled.The SUNY Fredonia Ticket Office has sent e-mails to all who have already purchased tickets, with instructions how to receive credit or a refund. The Senior Class apologizes for the inconvenience.

Unique courses offered this summer on campus

SUNY Fredonia has expanded its Summer Sessions to include unique courses that will keep students engaged over the long summer. Courses include History Through Film, Fitness and Nutrition and Event Management. Anyone interested in participating, may register by contacting Lifelong Learning and Special Programs.

"Green Fest" celebrates Arbor Day April 30

On Saturday, April 30, and Sunday, May 1, SUNY Fredonia’s Academic Community Engagement (FACE) Center will be working with Dunkirk’s Academy Heights Neighborhood Association and NRG Energy to plant more than 200 trees in honor of Chautauqua County’s Bicentennial, one day following this year’s April 29 Arbor Day observance.
