Inaugural Robert Jordan Piano Festival to be held Feb. 23-25

The School of Music will host the inaugural Robert Jordan Piano Festival in February, named in memory of School of Music Professor Emeritus Robert Jordan. The three-day event, slated for Feb. 23 through 25, will feature some of today's brightest piano artists, including Spencer Myer, Yi-Heng Yang and Shai Wosner.

Students awarded Sonnenfeld scholarship

The Council for Women’s Concerns (CWC)/Marion Sonnenfeld Scholarship, which recognizes outstanding female students who exemplify leadership, hard work and a good sense of community, were recently presented to undergraduate students Giovanina Vancheri, Ariel Davis and Kaycie Malyk.

Author to discuss ‘Slaves in the Family’ at Brown Bag talk

Edward Ball, a prominent commentator on race in the United States currently serving as a Williams Visiting Professor at Fredonia, will examine “Slaves in the Family,” his inaugural book, in the Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at noon at the Williams Center Room S204.
