Flora and fauna are on Earth Week agenda with outdoor walks and talks

To accommodate different interests and schedules, the outdoor activities will be held on four different days during Earth Week. Led by both science and literature professors, they will feature nature walks on campus, a trip to the College Lodge, and opportunities to “get your hands dirty” by planting native plants and weeding out invasive species.

Lawson, Bleecher, and McCown receive President’s Awards

President Dennis L. Hefner will present the awards this year to Michael S. Bleecher, associate director of admissions; Holly J. Lawson, associate professor of chemistry; and Deborah McCown, office manager for the Faculty Student Association. President Hefner will also recognize SUNY Fredonia employees for years of service (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, or 45).

Fredonia welcomes Brockport faculty to discuss world literature in English curriculum

UNY Fredonia’s English Department will welcome three of its counterparts at SUNY Brockport to campus to discuss World Literature in English Curriculum. Drs. J. Roger Kurtz, Austin Busch, and Sharon Lubkemann Allen will appear on Monday, April 27 at 5:30 p.m. in 105 Fenton Hall, to deliver a presentation that is free and open to the public.
