Finkeldey journal article examines Impacts of parental incarceration

Criminal Justice Assistant Professor Jessica Finkeldey wrote the article "Identifying as a Troublemaker/Partier: The Influence of Parental Incarceration and Emotional Independence" published in the Journal of Child and Family Studies (Volume 29, Issue 3, March 2020).

Students to share their Honduras medical mission experience

The unique experience of serving on medical brigades in Honduras during the J-Term will be shared by Fredonia students in an informal presentation they’ll give on Friday, Feb. 21, at 3 p.m., in the Science Center’s Kelly Family Auditorium (Room 105).

Purtill co-authors scientific journal article that explores health/place link

Department of Geology and Environmental Sciences Assistant Professor Matthew Purtill is a co-author of "Shifting the Gaze of the Physician from the Body to the Body in a Place: A Qualitative Analysis of a Community-based Photovoice Approach to Teaching Place-health Concepts to Medical Students,” an article published in February edition of PLOS ONE.

McEntarfer, Iovannone co-write journal article on chosen name policies

Department of English Associate Professor Heather McEntarfer and Dr. Jeffry Iovannone, who serves as coordinator of the Women’s and Gender Studies program, co-wrote the article, “Faculty Perceptions of and Experiences with Chosen Names Policies and Non-binary Pronouns," that has been accepted for publication in the journal, Teaching in Higher Education.
