‘Pi Day’ to raise a toast to cable network Nickelodeon

A tribute to the Nickelodeon cable network will be front and center when “Pi Day” meets the “Big 2.0” (its 20th anniversary) on Thursday, March 12, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., in McEwen Hall Room 209.

Department of Geology and Environmental Sciences Assistant Professor Matthew Purtill is a co-author of "Shifting the Gaze of the Physician from the Body to the Body in a Place: A Qualitative Analysis of a Community-based Photovoice Approach to Teaching Place-health Concepts to Medical Students,” an article published in February edition of PLOS ONE.

McEntarfer, Iovannone co-write journal article on chosen name policies

Department of English Associate Professor Heather McEntarfer and Dr. Jeffry Iovannone, who serves as coordinator of the Women’s and Gender Studies program, co-wrote the article, “Faculty Perceptions of and Experiences with Chosen Names Policies and Non-binary Pronouns," that has been accepted for publication in the journal, Teaching in Higher Education.
