Christian Bernhard (School of Music) has been invited to present a research paper, "Improvisation in Instrumental Music Education: Research and Implications," at the 3rd International Conference on Music Learning and Teaching at Oakland University in Rochester, MI, March 10-12. SUNY Fredonia’s music business department will welcome Joey DeMaio of the internationally renowned heavy metal band, Manowar, to campus on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 6:15 p.m. in McEwen G-24. The band has earned gold and platinum awards and completed more than 30 tours all over the world. DeMaio, who is also a composer, lyricist engineer and producer, will speak about his musical and business experiences.The event is free and open to the public.
