A steady flow of students and other visitors toured an interdisciplinary immersive narrative installation, created by SUNY Fredonia students enrolled in writing and art courses, on an unusually warm December afternoon.

Robert E. Coon, 94, who was Vice President for Student Affairs Emeritus at the State University of New York College at Fredonia, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 15, at Brooks Hospital in Dunkirk, following a brief illness.

“No one can hear you screen!” A play on words, obviously from the “Alien” film franchise, was crafted by students in the Department of Communication to promote their end-of-term screening on Dec. 9.
A fundraiser – featuring works of art created by more than a dozen area artists – is underway to raise money to purchase medicine and medical supplies that SUNY Fredonia students will take along with them to Honduras in 2023, where they serve on medical brigades that provide needed health care.
