Greetings! It is my pleasure to welcome you to the School of Business at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Fredonia. Whether you are a new student, a returning student, parent or recruiter, I thank you for visiting our site. As an AACSB accredited school, we are committed to provide current and relevant business education to prepare our students to be outstanding business professionals who are ready for the ever changing business climate.
We have 3 departments which include Accounting, Management, Marketing, & Finance; Economics; and Music Industry & Sport Management. Combining liberal arts foundation, we emphasize the critical competencies related to data, communication, leadership, teamwork, and ethics in the curriculum that is necessary for today’s business executives to be efficacious in traditional and virtual global settings. Opportunities beyond classrooms through internships, co-ops, study abroad, industrial trips, and consulting provide our students diversified skills and experiences which are attractive to local, regional and global recruiters. We are committed to provide internship to every student before they graduate. Our broad range of recruiters include: General Electric, Community Bank, American Express, Walt Disney, New York Life, Fisher Price, Morgan Stanley, Key Bank, Paychex, Merrill Lynch, B&C Tax Accounting. Fredonia’s 4 + 1 programs allow graduates to earn a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in 5 years. Our undergraduate 150-hour Public Accountancy degree qualifies graduates for CPA licensure.
