SUNY Fredonia’s Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team was named a regional champion by SIFE USA after winning its league at the Regional Competition, held April 11 in New York City.

Laura Deen Johnson, assistant professor of communications, was a guest speaker at Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas, where she addressed the topic, "Expressions of Civil Region in Post 9-11 America." The multi-media presentation took place March 12 at the Wohlgemuth Music Education Center.
The four-day, northeast regional event culminated in a Gala Concert featuring the festival's strongest works, including Fredonia Dance Ensemble's "Embodying," choreographed by Professor Sam Kenney and part of the program for the group's spring concert on campus March 23-25.
