Four students from the Integrated Marketing Communication class, along with a guest speaker from First Investors, will provide tips on various economic issues aimed at graduating students and community members. They will discuss the importance of the economic climate in our country today, how students can prepare for retirement, how to successfully save, and how to pay back student loans.
The New Horizons Band of Western New York will present a Fall Concert at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19 at Fredonia High School Auditorium in Fredonia, N.Y. The concert is free, but the band would appreciate donations of non-perishable food that will be donated to the Food Pantry of the Chautauqua County Rural Ministry.

Several events highlighting the diversity of the world’s cultures will observe International Education Week at SUNY Fredonia from Nov. 10 through Nov. 20 at various locations on campus. All students, faculty, and general public are invited to attend.
Organizers of the 9th annual Campus-Wide Donation Drive are looking for student volunteers to do the physical work necessary to move the donations from givers to recipients. Last year, the drive collected 25 boxes of toys, 50 boxes of food, and 50 bags of clothing (3,000 gallons), which were sorted and packaged for transport by 67 student volunteers from various student organizations, residence halls and university staff.

The Blue Devils earned the right to host the SUNYAC Women's Volleyball Championships by winning the SUNYAC West Division. The team, coached by Geoffrey Braun, went 10-0 in conference play, sweeping every match 3-0 during the season. The tournament begins Thursday, Nov. 6.
The 3rd Annual SUNY Fredonia Safe Halloween is taking place Saturday, Nov. 1, starting at noon in Mason Hall. This FREE event is aimed at elementary and middle school children and will feature crafts, dancing, shows, refreshments, games, haunted happenings, live music, and more than 40 rooms for kids to visit for "Trick or Treating."
