Psychology Mentoring Program

The Psychology Department launched a new peer mentoring program in the Fall 2018 semester.  All students entering Fredonia in the Fall semester are assigned a mentor, who can provide support for the transition to Fredonia, convey information about campus resources, and facilitate academic success.  Mentees are given the opportunity to meet one-to-one with their mentor and attend department-sponsored events throughout the semester.  Mentors are advanced students in the Psychology major who are completing a 1-credit internship which provides training and support for the mentoring role.  Dr. Jack Croxton will be supervising the mentoring program in Fall 2020 and will be reaching out to prospective mentors in the Spring 2020 semester. Interested students should be at least a junior or senior and have a GPA of at least 3.0.  Contact Dr. Croxton at if you are interested in becoming a mentor next fall!
