Psychology Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Opportunities!

It is highly recommended that Fredonia students are involved in the community. Volunteer experiences can be rewarding on a personal level, but they also will have great potential to make you more marketable as a prospective employee and/or graduate student after you graduate from Fredonia.

We want to be sure that all of our Psychology students are aware of the various volunteer opportunities on and off campus. Some popular volunteer sites that you may be interested in include:

  • Brooks Memorial Hospital
  • Campus and Community Children’s Center
  • Chautauqua County Home
  • Meals on Wheels
  • Lake Shore Family Center

To see a complete list of volunteer sites, go to:

If you would like to begin with filling out the volunteer information sheet to specify the times and days you are available, you could find the form at:

You can visit the Volunteer & Community Services office located in the Williams Center, Room S227 if you have any questions or would like to turn your form in. All emails regarding volunteering can be sent to Joyce Smith at Joyce.Smith@fredonia.edu
