The Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) degree prepares individuals to be leaders and advocates in the field of mental health counseling and follows a nationally recognized curriculum aligned with national and state standards. The program’s 63 credits include course content in professional orientation and ethical practice, social and cultural diversity, human growth and development, career development, trauma-informed care, helping relationships, group work, assessment, and research/program evaluation. Applicants are considered from any discipline, including psychology, social work, education, music and others.

The Office of Residence Life will have limited housing available for the weekends your program will be on campus. The cost will be $45/night and you must sign up 2 weeks prior to the date of check-in. **You will be charged accordingly during the reservation process. 

Cancellation for housing must be received in writing 24 hours prior to check-in to receive a refund. You can email your cancellation to ResLife@fredonia.edu.

For University Commons guest rooms (only two available), there will be a full sized bed, and an in-room bathroom. For other housing options, there will be a twin sized bed and shared bathroom. Linens for the bed and towels will be provided.
